Lang is an award-winning lamp designed by Light Bureau. Lang is a lamp that represents a design tool that allows playing with light, two independent light sources with four different geometries. Lang is characterized by two light sources placed next to each other. The distribution of light and luminous flux can be selected separately for each source, allowing designers maximum flexibility in achieving the desired effect.
An additional design possibility of this lamp, is that the "blade" is placed as a physical divider between the brackets in the shape of the letter "V" - an aluminum screen that can be adjusted by laser cutting and works like filters. This technical and aesthetic device offers designers another field where they can play with the finished lighting effect. The colors and design combinations are endless – eg a municipality can laser cut its coat of arms, different shades can work as an integrated signage system, a geometric pattern can create fun shadows on the floor.
